Laboratoire de cinésiologie.

La thématique principale du laboratoire concerne la compréhension des troubles du mouvement humain et l'amélioration de la prise en charge de ces troubles. Les activités de recherches sont menées de manière translationnelle allant de l'investigation fondamentale à l'application clinique avec une emphase particulière sur les activités quotidiennes en posture érigée (lever de chaise, équilibre, marche). Autour de cette thématique, trois axes principaux sont développés :

1) Comprendre les troubles du mouvement
L'objectif est de mieux comprendre l'origine des troubles du mouvement observés chez l'humain.

2) Prédire les troubles du mouvement et leur évolution
Les objectifs sont de prédire les altérations du mouvement en fonction des caractéristiques de l'atteinte des individus, de prédire l'évolution de certaines pathologies en utilisant le mouvement comme un bio-marqueur et de prédire les modifications induites par un traitement.

3) Définir et évaluer des nouvelles solutions thérapeutiques
L'objectif est de définir et d'évaluer de nouvelles solutions thérapeutiques pour prévenir, réduire ou abolir les troubles du mouvement, mais aussi dans l'objectif de comprendre les mécanismes d'action de ces dernières.
