Etude de l'activation des monocytes/macrophages et des polynucléaire neutrophile

Le projet de notre groupe est étroitement associé à celui du Dr D. Burger et du Prof JM Dayer dont il constitue un sous-ensemble. Il a pour thème l'étude de l'activation des monocytes/macrophages et des polynucléaires neutrophiles par contact direct avec des molécules de surface des lymphocytes T et l'inhibition de ce contact par les Ť high-density-lipoproteins (HDL)ť et plus particulièrement par leur composante protéique, l'apolipoprotéine A1 (Apo A1). Notre groupe s'occupe de l'investigation clinique dans le domaine des pathologies immuno-inflammatoires et de leur éventuelle association avec des atteintes cardio-vasculaires. Il est particulièrement impliqué dans le transfert de technologies et de découvertes de la recherche vers des applications cliniques.
Nos projets concernent plus précisément:
¨ La stimulation du métabolisme oxydatif des phagocytes mono- et polynucléés par les molécules de surface des lymphocytes T et leur régulation par les HDL.
¨ Le dosage des protéines positives (CRP, SAA) et négative (Apo-A1 )de la phase aiguë de l'inflammation dans le sérum de patients atteints de pathologies inflammatoires aiguës (choc septique) et chroniques (arthrite rhumatoïde, lupus érythémateux disséminé, sclérose en plaque) afin d'étudier leurs cinétiques respectives, leurs équilibres et leurs valeurs pronostiques.
¨ La mise au point du dosage des auto-anticorps anti-Apo-A1 et l'étude de leur prévalence chez les patients atteints de pathologies auto-immunes et cardio-vasculaires.
¨ Le dosages des cytokines et de leurs inhibiteurs dans les liquides biologiques de patients atteints de pathologies immuno-inflammatoires afin d'établir leur rôle et leur valeur diagnostique ou pronostique.
