Attentes et représentations des patients

1. Projets de recherche dans le domaine des attentes et des représentations des patients.
Ce domaine touche 3 projets principaux :

a) "Attentes et représentations des patients hospitalisés pour un COPD"
Investigateurs : C. Luthy, J.-P. Janssens, A.-F. Allaz.
Fonds : Ligue pulmonaire genevoise et Astra Zeneca; au total CHF 20'000.-
Cette recherche a pour but d'explorer par des méthodes qualitatives les représentations qu'ont les patients souffrant d'un COPD de leur maladie.

b) "Analyse des attentes et des représentations de patients souffrant de lombalgies chroniques et de fibromyalgie"
Investigateurs : E. Girard, C. Cedraschi, C. Luthy, A.-F. Allaz.
Fonds : ressources internes. Recherche qualitative avec questionnaires semi-structurés.
Cette recherche a pour but de comparer les attributions causales concernant leurs douleurs chroniques des patients souffrant de lombalgies ou de fibromyalgie.
Recherche qualitative au moyen de questionnaires semi-structurés.

c) "Recherche sur les durées de séjour et la congruence entre les patients et leurs thérapeutes sur la cause et la justification des hospitalisations. Comparaison avec des instruments quantitatifs validés et des méthodes qualitatives"
Investigateurs : C. Luthy, A.-F. Allaz, M. Piccard-Kossovsky, J.-P. Michel et collaborateurs.
Suite et dernier volet d'une recherche sur la justification des hospitalisations.
Fonds : recherche menée en collaboration avec le Département de Gériatrie. Fonds Qualité des HUG (CHF 227'830.- en l'an 2000).
Le but de cette recherche est de comparer les réponses sur la justification et les causes d'hospitalisations données par des instruments quantitatifs validés et les méthodes qualitatives d'entretiens semi-structurés.

2. Collaboration entre différents acteurs de soins et entre eux et/ou avec les patients.
Deux projets de recherche sont en cours :
a) "Point de vue des différents acteurs multidisciplinaires lors de la décision de retour à domicile de patients hospitalisés"
Investigateurs : E. Perrin, C. Luthy, S. Voelin, A.-F. Allaz
Fonds : octroyés durant l'année 2002 par le Fonds DORE (50% du Fonds National Suisse de la Recherche Scientifique et 50% de la Commission pour la Technologie et l'Innovation : CHF 59'584. Le but de cette recherche est d'analyser les points de vue et l'implication des différents acteurs soignants lors des retours à domicile de patients hospitalisés. Elle a été menée dans le cadre et une collaboration SMIR - HES régulière.
NB : Cette recherche a obtenu le prix de la Colline en 2003.

b) "Processus de régulation de la coopération entre infirmières et médecins dans les situations de travail hospitalier".
Investigateurs : D. Lanza, A. Laubscher, R. Muller, L. Seferdjelli, A.-F. Allaz .
Fonds : DORE (50% du Fonds National Suisse de la Recherche Scientifique et 50% de la Commission pour la Technologie et l'Innovation) : CHF 55'534.-
Cette recherche, actuellement en cours, a pour but d'analyser les processus de coopération multidisciplinaire à l'intérieur d'un service hospitalier.

3. Evaluation des aspects psychosociaux dans le domaine des maladies chroniques et en particulier de la douleur (cf. également point 1b.)
a) "Investigation of psychosocial, neurophysiological and phenotypical determinants of pain in fibromyalgic patients with randomized controlled evaluation of a self-management based program"
Investigateurs : Recherche menée par les Services de Rhumatologie et de Pharmacologie clinique des HUG. Collaboration du SMIR : C. Cedraschi, A.-F. Allaz : dimensions psychosociales de l'évaluation d'un programme de soins multimodal pour les patients souffrant de douleurs chroniques de type fibromyalgie.
Fonds : FNSRS, CHF 231'244.- octroyés au Service de Rhumatologie.
